I found an old Oregon Trail CD......

from the late 90s....and it runs on Vista. I am stoked.

Carmen Sandiego didn't run though. :-(

Anyway, NG moderator poxpower is running a new challenge over at thepoxbox.

All you have to do is rate how good your day was everyday in March. It's pretty easy and I think he's gonna give some shit away. I am such a procrastinator I just started mine 3 days late, so I factored that in.

I'm having 2 surgeries on March 13th so I may die. If I do, my score will be pretty low.

EDIT: SURVIVED SURGERY
I was scared to death and had to be given something to calm me down before I even went under. There's just something about signing that anesthesia consent form "side effects may include cardiac arrest and death". Yeah. I wasn't digging it.

Something else you need to do is go become a Newgrounds supporter. It's good for the site, it's good for your soul. I'll hug you.

Here's a picture of Skyrim covered in cheese.

Oh man, that game brings back memories. It just might be one of the first games I ever played, along with Sim Ant, way back in elementary school. Hope GOG gets it eventually so I can dive deep down in a nostalgic venture through the wasteland of a truly free USA.

I spent way too much of my spring break playing.

Really glad to hear the surgery went well! Cheese filled skyrim is much better than regular skyrim.

3/28/13 SevenSeize responds:

Cheese filled anything is better than regular anything, also, thanks homie!

I still remember what would happen if I played a game too long - eye burn-in. Try going to sleep, and there those pixelated sprites would stay, along with the horrible midi music. No such problem playing Fallout 3... Wasteland 2 looks promising, thanks for keeping me up to speed!

3/19/13 (Updated 3/19/13) SevenSeize responds:

I am more excited about Wasteland 2 than a normal person should be.

Where in Time is Carmen San Diego? I still have that game, I think. I can still remember putting the sewage pipes together and making the Romans bathe in shit; man, good times.

3/19/13 SevenSeize responds:

I got it working on my older computer and we played that case yesterday. Good times indeed.

DosBox?

And which Carmen Sandiego?

Have you tried using "DosBox" to run Carmen?

Have you tried using "DosBox" to run Carmen?

3/19/13 SevenSeize responds:

I have not, I got it to work on my older XP computer but I may try that on my crappy Vista

And my old The Yukon Trail doesn't run on WIn7, so I'm sad about that. :C

Carmen Sandiego was the shizz. Could never catch her. :T

3/10/13 SevenSeize responds:

I have that and am trying to get it to run on an old computer.

3/10/13 SevenSeize responds:

It's not actually just for productivity, you can pick whatever you want as criteria for what is a good and a bad day for you!
Yep. Like for instance: Not dying in surgery.
Not playing Oregon Trail for 10 hours.

Ya know, reasonable goals.

3/3/13 (Updated 3/3/13) SevenSeize responds:

I played for one hour. Therefore today I earned a 7. Stafffighter got sick, broke his leg, almost drowned, got dysentery and was just a general pain in the ass to bring to Oregon.

Good luck!!!

3/3/13 SevenSeize responds:

Thank you!!!!

I still have my Zork and Wasteland (pre-Fallout game) floppies.
*twitches spasmodically looking at 21st century PC for somewhere to stick the floppy*
Good luck with the op and the recovery!!

3/3/13 SevenSeize responds:

They are making a sequel to Wasteland, the developers of Fallout, and I am sooooooooooooo excited!!!!!! Thanks sir!

Hope you have a speedy recovery! Praying everything goes well.

3/3/13 SevenSeize responds:

Thank you homie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How you do dat?

3/3/13 SevenSeize responds:

If you play on your computer it's a console cheat, google skyrim console commands.

No matter how many times I see that it amuses me how casual those people are about wading through a tide of cheese.
Yes that is the pressing point at the moment seeing as your surgery is going to go great and you aren't dieing.
CHEESE!!!!

3/3/13 (Updated 3/3/13) SevenSeize responds:

One of my homegirls said she had the same surgery and went to the gym the next day. That gives me a little hope.
